Very fancy place for family dinner or a nice date. The food could have been better according to the price tag. I would give food 3:5-4 out of 5. The quantity if huge so be mindful of what you order. The baklava are really nice to end your meal with. Try the chicken sandwich and spicy hummus. The pita breads are the best and softest I have ever eaten.

AMAZING food. That's it. Stopped by this place for a group dinner and we arranged for a Chef's Special arrangement. We did not know what we signed up for but we all wrapped up with our tummies over stuffed with some delicious food being served all the time. As part of the chef's special arrangement, we got their hummus, baba ghanoush, garlic fries, their freshly made pita, cheese pita, spinach pita, falafel & cauliflower plate served with rice and salad, chicken kebab plate & lamb kebab plate. Trust me when I say that EVERYTHING we ordered was beyond amazing. Food tasted fresh and definitely was made with love and passion. Portions were huge and plan on sharing meals here. Their pita is superb and is freshly made right when you walk in. The chef's arrangement is super economical for big groups and I found it cheaper as compared to their a la carte menu which is a tad bit expensive. They have a huge space for indoor seating and then have a private space as well. This place can accommodate large groups but can be busy over weekend. Service is quick and the food is outstanding. I highly recommend this place to have a good hearty meal.

We went to Tanoor during our stay at the Hampton Inn and Suites downtown. It’s a walkable distance and had one of the highest review ratings on a restaurant near us. The food was good but to me not exceptional. We had the classic gyro which was okay. The lamb and beef shawarma was much better. The fresh bread was a huge plus. The Turkish coffee was nice. The service was as a little slow. The restaurant is very clean and well furnished. No alcohol.

I had heard some good things about tanoor before visiting but even so they exceeded my expectations. Food was excellent, big portions and super flavorful. Pita must've come immediately out of the oven as it was so hot to the touch that I had to give it a minute to cool down. That's a compliment, not a complaint, as so many places have the pita pre-made in batch to serve and it was very obvious how fresh theirs was. Ambience was very nice with beautiful Arabic music, and the only reason I mention that is that it actually caught my attention enough that I had to Shazam it. Service was very friendly and attentive also. All in all, a real five star experience. My only complaint is the napkins are way too skimpy to protect your clothes against oil, they should probably upgrade to cloth napkins.

We visited this Lebanese restaurant for dinner. We tried their Fatayir Spaneekh (Spinach version instead of cheese) , Arambeet (Fried Cauliflower) and Batata Harra. The Batata Harra sauce was excellent which had a zing in it. Arambeet and Fatayir Spaneekh were pretty great as well. We ended with trying their trio baklava out of which one was milk based and the rest were regular nut based ones.

tanoor is a restaurant that serves Lebanese cuisine similar to popular franchises like Paramount. I recommend the Batata Harra for people new to the cuisine to get a taste of the spices to go with the fries. Babaghanouge is also highly recommended and goes well with the complementary bread. The Halloumi fries and cheese fatayir appetizers were good but too cheesy if you have too many. For the main course, we got the Mixed Grill for Two-Three and the tanoor Ribeye steak. The mixed grill was on point but the steak came too rare. The steak was returned and recooked again but became too well done after. Seems like the chefs are not that great at cooking steak so avoid. The waiter was great and the service was top tier Overall great but too pricey. $50 per person excluding tip. We are big eaters though
